Breaking Barriers

Here is a sample of the full 15 minute project for Ballet Wichita's "Breaking Barriers" performance. I worked with choreographer Yusha-Marie Sorzano to create visuals that accompanied her contemporary ballet inspired by the 1958 Dockum Drug Store sit-in. Featuring images from The Kansas African American Museum, as well as the University of Texas at Arlington, Ted Ayton, Stanley Nelson, the Smithsonian National Museum of American History, and the Library of Congress.
